About the Founder

Hi Mom’s! My name is Chantel and my journey to becoming a Mom was not conventional. I wasn’t married, I wasn’t in a career, and my Dad was suffering from a terminal illness.
I was pregnant and I felt like my dream of becoming a Mom had come true.
Yet as I looked around everything else was falling apart.
I faced many pressures of not being able to provide for my baby and
the constant pressure to get an abortion.
I knew how badly I had wanted to be a Mom and despite every circumstance I held onto this thought that God
would provide even though I didn’t even know God I knew I was meant to have my baby.
The diagnosis my Dad had shortly passed from was Creutzfeldt Jacob disease a genetic disease that had a
midlife onset and could be passed from parent to child.
My dad was the first of his two brothers to pass and my uncle passed shortly after his diagnosis too.
Knowing this could effect both me and my new baby I gained the courage to get tested.
I received the results and faced death head on while becoming a new Mom, living at home, loosing my dad, and myself.
I walked through a shadow of my life… “What does anything matter?” “What’s the point of living?” I even had a
therapist compare my young adulthood to retirement as if I should live the start of my life as the end of my life.
I didn’t know how a way could be made but I knew I had to keep going. I had a new baby to care for that needed
me. I had a reason to live.
No matter what your relationship status is, financial or living circumstances looks like or tries to tell you
otherwise YOU were chosen to be a Mom you were chosen to give life and to receive LOVE.
This God I didn’t even know carried me through the darkest times and turned them into the most beautiful times
now I know that’s beauty for ashes!
I can confidently say you’re going to make it too. There’s a plan and a purpose for you to fulfill and a love beyond
anything you could imagine up ahead.

Knowing there is hope and a future beyond your circumstances and gaining confidence by overcoming.
I’ve been through the unexpected and the challenges will only make you who you are to be the best Mom’s we
